1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Rexels ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms with 14 days' notice.

2. Description of Service

Rexels provides AI-powered tools for YouTube creators:

Channel Analysis — connect your YouTube channel (read-only) to score your thumbnails against your own analytics and surface underperformers
Thumbnail Generation & Editing — AI-generated and AI-edited thumbnails, including recreation from your own videos and reference images
Performance Prediction — candidate thumbnails ranked against your channel's own history, with a self-reported accuracy record
Title Generation — AI-optimized YouTube titles
Live Thumbnail Testing (optional, beta) — with your separate, explicit authorization, Rexels may set video thumbnails on your channel solely to run tests you start

AI Limitations: Results may vary and are not guaranteed. Predictions and scores are statistical estimates relative to your own channel history; they are not a promise of any particular click-through rate, view count, or revenue outcome.

2.1 YouTube API Services

Rexels uses YouTube API Services. By using features that connect to YouTube, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy, and our handling is described in our Privacy Policy. You can revoke Rexels' access to your YouTube data at any time via your Google security settings.

3. Account Registration

Eligibility: You must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities: You are responsible for maintaining account security and all activity under your account.

Account Sharing: Accounts are for individual use only. Sharing credentials is not permitted.

Beta Access: During the current beta, access is provided through free signup credits and voucher codes. Paid subscriptions and credit purchases open with public billing; prices shown on the pricing page before then are the planned ladder and may be adjusted at launch.

Purchasing: When billing launches, credits and subscriptions will be purchased through a PCI-compliant payment processor. All transactions are in USD.

Subscriptions: Auto-renew monthly. Cancel anytime from Settings.

Refund Policy: Credits are non-refundable once purchased. Exceptions: technical failures causing credit loss, duplicate charges, unauthorized transactions. Request refunds within 14 days.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

Your Content: You retain ownership of content you create using Rexels.

Copyright Notice: Purely AI-generated content without substantial human creative input may not be eligible for copyright protection under current law.

License to Rexels: You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as needed to provide the Service.

Rexels Platform: Rexels retains all rights to the platform, UI, branding, and technology.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

✗ Harassment, threats, or hate speech
✗ Malware, phishing, or deceptive content

Commercial Use: Allowed. You may use generated content commercially.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rexels shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Total liability is limited to the greater of (a) amounts paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

9. Termination

By You: Delete your account from Settings > Privacy > Delete Account.

By Rexels: We may terminate accounts that violate these terms, with 7 days' notice when feasible.

10. Dispute Resolution

Disputes are resolved through informal resolution (30 days), then binding arbitration under JAMS Consumer Arbitration Rules.

Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of a class action.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
